Henkel Adhesive Technologies India has partnered with the Footwear Design and Development Institute to open the Henkel-FDDI Shoe Academy in Noida. The academy will train shoe manufacturers to introduce value-added sustainable practices through both theoretical and practical training. The Indian shoe industry is the second largest in the world (after China) with an estimated 2.2 billion pairs of shoes manufactured each year. Henkel is a world leader in adhesive technology, with a longstanding commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
